WOBURN FAMILY KITCHEN renovation
Easy living in a relaxed yet elevated family home.
A kitchen and dining room design that is artful yet informal, highly functional, with an edge of sophistication.
Kate and Adam were looking for a unique and thoughtfully designed kitchen that improved the use of space, created more light, increased storage capacity, integrated kitchen and dining zones and connected better to the outdoors.
We flipped the dining and kitchen areas, moving the dining area to the natural light and creating a corner booth seat in this prime area. The reallocation of space allowed kitchen cabinetry to span the full width of the room and include a variety of storage types, including wide drawers, full-height cupboards and an appliance nook that can be closed off with a roller door.
We added two windows, bringing more natural light into the kitchen and making it a more pleasant place to work.
